Ticket sales are now open for the upcoming edition of BassFest on November 8 & 9 at Theater Zuidplein in Rotterdam! We’re thrilled to welcome living legend Victor Wooten with The Wooten Brothers, funky bass guitarist Vincen García and classical double bass phenomenon Xavier Foley. They join the already announced Dave Holland Trio and Mohini Dey. On top of that we have Mehdi Nassouli & Marmoucha Collective, Sasha Witteveen, James Oesi Trio & Tijs Klaassen Quintet. Also a lot of young talent and our Ateliers in Residence featuring the best bass luthiers in Europe, and even a dedicated bass cinema! Check out our timetable here!

For the very first time and exclusively live in the Netherlands: the phenomenal bassist Mohini Dey and her band! From a young age, the virtuosic Dey has been making waves with her unparalleled technique and musicality. She has collaborated with legends such as Steve Vai and Zakir Hussain, and released her debut album in 2023. She is known worldwide for her boundary-pushing playing!

For the second time at our festival, we are honored to welcome living legend Dave Holland. This time with his trio, delivering an explosive mix of virtuosity and groove, with saxophonist Jaleel Shaw and drummer Nasheet Waits as his dream partners in improvisation!
