Tijs Klaassen Quintet

Bassist Tijs Klaassen has performed with Dutch jazzheros Ben van Gelder, Oene van Geel, and Theo Loevendie, among others. With his own quintet – a close-knit group of musical friends – he explores the intersection of jazz, classical, electronics, and improvisation. The band has received awards including Keep an Eye the Records and the Sena Performance award. Their third album ‘Adhocism’ was released in 2024.
