CvA Jazz Presents: Anton Tuxen’s Super Sprout

BassFest offers a stage to the jazz students of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. The four-piece band Super Sprout is led by Danish bassist and composer Anton Tuxen, who studied at the CvA. Mixing groove, improvisation, and electronics into an exhilarating live experience, the band draws influences from Kurt Rosenwinkel to Aphex Twin and Thom Yorke, taking the audience on a captivating journey where intuition, beats, and sound take center stage.
