The Conservatorium van Amsterdam presents the Aniol Torrents Trio. Catalan bassist Aniol Torrents is known for his versatility and distinctive voice on the instrument. Moving effortlessly between jazz, improvised music, indie, rock, pop, electronic, and neo-soul, he has developed a bass style that is groove-driven, expressive, and dynamic. With his trio, Torrents performs his own compositions, exploring avant-garde, free improvisation, open soundscapes, and subtle electronics – all infused with an ethereal sense of nostalgia.
