BassFest Junior 2026

Sunday 22 November, Theater Zuidplein, Rotterdam

For one whole day, everything revolves around the bass. Don’t play yet? At BassFest Junior you’ll discover how it feels to hold a double bass or bass guitar – in workshops where you get started right away. Already play? Then you’ll get masterclasses from top bassists from the Netherlands and abroad, across classical, jazz and pop.

You’ll also build your own bass, play in the Junior Bass Orchestra, and at the end of the day take the stage together for the closing concert – with your parents, friends and an audience in the hall!

For everyone up to and including 18 years old. Participation is free and instruments are provided, so you don’t need to bring your own. Places are limited: we divide participants into small groups by instrument, level and age.
